Fred is a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser by trade. He has worked in the Appraisal Departments for Long Island Savings Bank, Citibank & Fleet Bank. He joined Maspeth Federal Savings Bank in 2015 and currently serves as a Senior Loan Underwriter. His responsibilities include performing preliminary valuations of commercial properties to ensure all loan proposals meet MFS’ lending metrics, before being presented to the Board of Directors for final approval, being a liaison between RE brokers and the bank & underwriting loans. He also oversees the management and the eventual sale of all REO properties. During 1995-2008 Fred’s interesting & diverse professional career he worked as a District Manager for both Sam Goody Music Stores (Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, NYC & Staten Island) & Starbucks Coffee (NYC). He returned to the Commercial Real Estate Appraisal Industry in 2008 where he worked as a staff Commercial RE Appraiser for a few prominent appraisal firms on Long Island. Fun fact: Fred has run four (4) Full Marathons (26.2) (NYC 2015 & 2016, Portland, OR 2017, Austin, TX 2024)
